No.

“A rule-aware Reddit post drafter with thread alerts is a week's build. A 10K-follower founder and some SEO pages are all that stand in the way.”

01/The verdict

An AI Reddit marketing tool for indie founders. It picks subreddits, drafts rule-aware posts, flags threads worth replying to and paces new accounts. Pricing is about $39 to $79 a month or a lifetime deal.

MediaFast is a solo-founder LLM wrapper: a subreddit rules database, a post generator and a thread finder. At least ten rivals sell the same thing. Its real assets are small. Founder Arthur Yuzbashev has about 10.2K X followers and builds in public, and the site has a growing set of programmatic SEO and comparison pages. TrustMRR shows about $28K all-time revenue, only $964 MRR from 23 subscriptions, and the business listed for sale at $200K. That is not the traction of something hard to displace.

02/3 moats

Time won't do it

Arthur Yuzbashev has about 10.2K X followers and about 12K on LinkedIn. He posts 'Day N of growing MediaFast' updates, and he says his first customers came from building in public. Growth has been bumpy: revenue fell 21% to 25% in some months.

To cross it: Build in public on X or Reddit for 6 to 12 months, or partner with an indie-hacker creator who already has a larger following.

~4 mo to cross

Programmatic SEO pages ('reddit-marketing-for/[niche]', 'compare/x-vs-mediafast', a free monitoring tool), a second domain (reddit-marketing.agency) and an MCP server listing. It also appears in many 'best Reddit marketing tools' roundups, but rivals like Redreach and RedShip run the same playbook against it.

To cross it: Ship a few hundred niche and comparison pages plus free tools, and get into the roundup listicles. That takes about a quarter of steady work.

~1 mo to cross

It claims a curated database of 4,200+ subreddits with karma and account-age requirements, allowed post formats and self-promo rules. The data comes from public subreddit sidebars and wikis.

To cross it: Scrape the rules and wikis of the top few thousand subreddits, then have an LLM turn them into structured fields.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • Rule-aware post drafting is a prompt plus each subreddit's public rules
  • Thread and keyword monitoring can run on third-party Reddit scrapers or the API, and F5Bot already does it for free
  • The daily action plan and karma-pacing roadmap are templated LLM output
  • The $179 lifetime deal and the founder community are easy to undercut or copy

How you'd go after it

  • Score threads for buying intent and send alerts to Slack, webhooks or an API, which reviewers note MediaFast lacks
  • Target the threads that rank on Google and get cited by ChatGPT (Reddit GEO), and sell it to B2B SaaS teams at higher prices instead of indie hackers
  • Go after the base of GummySearch users left behind by its shutdown, with a free tier and lower monthly pricing
  • Ship native agent integrations (Claude, Cursor, MCP) as the main interface for founders who live in AI tools

04/Build against it?

Stay away

The market is crowded with near-identical wrappers. Revenue per customer is small. Reddit can cut the whole category off: since November 2025 commercial API access needs manual approval, and GummySearch has shut down. Only enter with an audience of your own or a B2B intent-data angle.
