Dodo acts as the legal seller, claims PCI DSS Level 1, and runs tax collection and invoicing for sales in 150+ countries through group entities in the US, UK and India.

To cross it: Get underwritten by an acquirer or sit on Stripe, register for VAT and GST in the main regimes, and pass a PCI audit, which is what Polar and Creem already did.

Merchants' recurring subscriptions, stored card tokens, usage meters, credit balances and license keys live inside Dodo, so leaving means moving cards and re-billing customers.
