01/The verdict
An AI platform that moves a company's marketing site off Webflow or Framer into code the company owns, hosts it, and makes the changes and A/B tests the team asks for in Slack, ChatGPT or Claude. Startup marketing teams pay $49 to $299 a month.
Sherpa is a 2-person YC Spring 2026 company founded by ex-Lindy staff Ethan Kinnan and Norbu Sonam. Its main selling point, that you own the code and it syncs to GitHub, also means little lock-in. Teams like Vellum already migrate off Webflow with Claude Code in about a week and publish guides on how, Webflow has launched its own agent workspace called Source, and Ploy, from Webflow's co-founder, goes after the same buyers. Early customer logos from the founders' own network (Lindy, Emergent, InsForge, HackerRank) are the only real head start, and they are thin.
02/2 moats
Shallow
Sherpa hosts the site and runs its CMS, analytics, A/B tests and agent-managed design system, so leaving means re-hosting and rewiring forms and analytics. But the code syncs to the customer's GitHub by design.
To cross it: Offer a one-click import from the customer's GitHub repo, plus free migration of hosting and the CMS.
Shallow
Its early logos (Lindy, Emergent, InsForge, HackerRank, Bolto) look like they came from the YC and ex-Lindy network. The founders don't have a big public audience that we could find.
To cross it: Sell into a different startup batch or a founder community, and post before-and-after conversion case studies.
03/The gap
Easy to copy
- Migrating Webflow or Framer to Astro or Next.js, which Claude Code already does in a week by public accounts
- A Slack, ChatGPT or Claude bot that opens a preview and waits for approval; open-source repos already do this
- Prompt-driven A/B testing and built-in analytics
- Managed hosting with GitHub sync, which is a thin layer on Vercel or Netlify
How you'd go after it
- Sell to Webflow agencies as a white-label tool so they move their whole client lists at once
- Undercut the $299 Growth tier with one flat price that includes A/B tests, aimed at seed-stage teams
- Pick one vertical, such as dev-tool or AI startups, and offer ready-made templates for docs, changelogs and pricing pages
- Give away the migration as open source and charge only for hosting and experiments
04/Build against it?
Stay away
Webflow, Framer, Vercel and well-funded YC teams are converging on agent-managed marketing sites, and customers can do it themselves with Claude Code. Only worth it with an existing agency channel or a large captive set of sites.
