Does post2all have a moat?

Kinda.

27/100 · Shallow moat

“The scheduler and MCP server are a 2-week build. The only real barrier is 3 to 6 months of TikTok, Meta and LinkedIn API approvals.”

01/The verdict

A $9 to $39 a month social media scheduler for 13 networks, with an API, CLI and MCP server so AI agents can post. Creators, small teams and agencies pay for it.

post2all is a well-made scheduler that also works with AI agents. It has a REST API, SDK, CLI, an n8n node and an MCP server that works in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Cursor. What actually protects it is that it has posting access approved on many platforms, including TikTok Direct Post, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube. A newcomer has to get through those reviews before it can serve anyone. Beyond that there is little. The founder's audience is small, it has one testimonial, no funding was found, and at least 10 rivals already sell posting through an MCP server.

02/2 moats

~5 mo to cross

It offers TikTok Direct Post, which likely means it passed TikTok's content-posting audit. It also posts to Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest and X through their official logins, and each one needs its own app review. Its X app has already been flagged as malicious once, which blocked new users from connecting through X login. That shows how fragile and slow these approvals are.

To cross it: Submit apps to TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn and Google in parallel with screen recordings and a privacy policy, and expect 3 to 6 months of back-and-forth. Or skip the wait by building on a unified posting API like Upload-Post, Zernio or bundle.social.

~2 mo to cross

It supports 13 networks, including niche ones like Dribbble, Telegram, Discord, Bluesky and Wircle. It also offers MCP, CLI, a TypeScript SDK, n8n and a Claude plugin. Each platform has its own media rules that someone has to keep maintaining.

To cross it: Ship the 6 big networks first and add Bluesky, Telegram and Discord, which need no approval and take a few days each.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • The content calendar, per-account captions, post queue and checks before publishing are standard scheduler features.
  • The MCP server, CLI and agent skill are thin layers over a REST API and take days to build.
  • Pricing of $9 to $39 with unlimited posts is easy to beat. Zernio already has a free tier for 2 accounts.
  • There is no approval workflow and no data that keeps customers from leaving. They can reconnect their accounts elsewhere in minutes.

How you'd go after it

  • Win the AI-agent buyer with a free self-hosted option. Postiz already does this as open source with a large GitHub following.
  • Undercut it with a free tier or one flat price for unlimited accounts, as PostSyncer does.
  • Pick a vertical post2all doesn't serve, such as real estate or restaurants, or agencies that need client approval steps, which post2all says it doesn't have.
  • Out-market it in SEO with comparison pages. post2all already relies on these heavily, but its domain is young and has little authority.

04/Build against it?

Stay away

There are dozens of schedulers, and since late 2025 at least 10 of them sell posting through an MCP server. Prices are falling toward $9 or free. Only enter with distribution you already own, such as a large audience or an open-source following.
