01/The verdict

Autopilot SEO for small businesses and SaaS founders: daily AI articles, a backlink exchange among client sites, social reposting to 13 platforms and a Reddit reply agent, at $97 to $495 a month.

Distribb is a well-run autoblogger with real traction: $16.7k MRR and 118 subscriptions. But almost every part of it is now sold by a crowded set of rivals: Outrank, BabyLoveGrowth, Rankpill, Soro, Byword and others. Its one network-style asset is the backlink exchange, which is small next to BabyLoveGrowth's reported 2,500-site network. Founder audiences and affiliates help, but neither is big enough to stop a funded clone, and MRR fell 18% in the last 30 days.

02/3 moats

~4 mo to cross

Every signup joins the Backlink Exchange Network, and contextual links to other members are placed in the articles Distribb publishes. Each new client site adds link inventory, but the network is roughly 500 businesses, and BabyLoveGrowth already reports about 2,500 sites.

To cross it: Launch with free or $9 trials, auto-enroll every site into the exchange, and seed it with a few hundred owned or partner sites.

Time won't do it

Borja Obeso (@borjafat, about 6.4k X followers) previously ran the RebelGrowth podcast and blog. Cofounder Florian Darroman sold a previous company and publicly builds Distribb toward $100k MRR on X, alongside his Profitable Founder Club mastermind.

To cross it: Build an equal or bigger build-in-public audience, or partner with indie-hacker creators who already reach founders.

~4 mo to cross

Domain rating is 55 (per TrustMRR's SEO data), there are many 'vs' and alternative comparison pages, an affiliate program pays third-party review sites, and YouTube comparison videos rank for competitor names.

To cross it: Run the same comparison-page and affiliate playbook. Its own AI content engine makes this cheap and fast.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • Daily AI article generation and CMS autopublishing are commodity features that LLM APIs make easy to build
  • Repurposing posts to 13 social platforms works through standard scheduler APIs that rivals already use
  • The Reddit reply agent is a prompt plus monitoring that anyone can rebuild in days
  • Keyword research runs on third-party SEO data APIs that are available to anyone

How you'd go after it

  • Beat it on network size: launch with a bigger, cleaner backlink pool and market link quality and safety, which is the main worry reviewers raise
  • Go vertical, for example autopilot SEO only for local service businesses or only for Shopify stores, with niche-relevant link exchanges
  • Undercut the $495 Accelerator tier with an agency or white-label plan that serves many client sites
  • Sell it as a Claude or Codex skill or MCP server for founders who already write with their own AI, a move Distribb itself has started with its CLI

04/Build against it?

Stay away

There are at least six near-identical $99 autobloggers and nothing stops customers switching between them. Only enter with an existing founder audience or a vertical with its own link network.
