01/The verdict

Upload a job list and a technician list (Excel or CSV) and get back an optimized weekly plan with routes, matched qualifications and inspection deadlines. Sold to German fire-protection, elevator and other maintenance and inspection firms with 3 to 30 technicians, at €69 to €599 a month.

The product is an LLM column mapper, a vehicle-routing solver that handles time windows and skills (OR-Tools, Timefold or Google's route optimization API), and Excel and PDF exports. A capable builder reproduces that in about two weeks. Its main selling point, 'kein Systemwechsel' (no system change), also means it holds no customer data or workflow, so leaving costs a customer nothing. I found no founder profile, funding, reviews, press or customer numbers. The only thing growing is a set of programmatic SEO guide pages and free tools that look young and unproven.

02/2 moats

~3 mo to cross

The site runs many programmatic SEO pages: city pages like 'Spedition Software Villingen-Schwenningen', 'Dienstplan App kostenlos' and 'TOM Software', plus free calculators and templates. A few of these already show up in German searches, but there is no sign they bring in steady signups.

To cross it: Generate a similar long-tail set of German pages and free tools with AI, then wait a few months for them to be indexed.

Hard tech

Shallow

~1 mo to cross

The plans account for Sachkunde (certified skills such as FSA, RWA, Melder), inspection deadlines and travel times across a whole week. That is real optimization work, but solvers like Timefold already sell it as an API.

To cross it: Put a field-service routing API or OR-Tools under the hood and encode the domain rules (DIN 14406 deadlines, skill matching) in a few days.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • Matching uploaded columns to fields with an LLM is a prompt plus a confirmation screen
  • Weekly routing with skills and time windows comes off the shelf (Timefold, OR-Tools, Google Route Optimization)
  • The outputs are just an Excel plan, PDF route sheets and an exceptions PDF
  • There is no data lock-in, since customers keep their order system and upload files every week

How you'd go after it

  • Build the same optimizer as a plugin inside the systems these firms already use (mfr, Fieldcode, wartungsplaner.de, Jobber) so there is no upload step
  • Go through the industry channels: fire-protection trade associations and extinguisher wholesalers that refer member firms
  • Charge a flat €49 a month or per plan to undercut the €129 'Starter' tier for 3 to 10 person firms
  • Offer the 'send us your list, get a plan back' service with a human dispatcher checking the result, to win trust in a cautious, offline-minded trade

04/Build against it?

Only with an edge

Small German maintenance firms do spend hours planning in Excel, but standalone routing tools are common and the field service software they already run keeps adding optimization. Only go after this if you already have a way into the trade (association ties, a wholesaler partnership or an FSM integration deal), because the code itself protects nothing.
