“The dashboard is a weekend build and proxy IPs are bought wholesale. 173 Trustpilot reviews are the only thing a clone has to beat.”

01/The verdict

Reseller of ISP, residential and mobile proxies, sold per IP or per GB to sneaker, ticket, crypto-airdrop and social-account users. Buyers are small bot operators and scrapers.

BirdProxies looks like a young German reseller (started 2024) in a very crowded market. The website, dashboard and per-IP pricing are easy to copy. Its main assets are about 173 Trustpilot reviews at 4.9 and a founder who answers each review himself, and these are shallow. I found no confirmed owned IP ranges, certifications, a large audience or notable funding.

02/2 moats

~3 mo to cross

Trustpilot shows 173 reviews at 4.9. A listing site calls it officially registered in Germany. Proxy buyers do check reviews, but there are many such reviewed sellers.

To cross it: Launch with a free trial or refund guarantee, collect a similar number of reviews, and get listed on Proxyway, CaProxy and similar sites.

~4 mo to cross

It publishes SEO blog posts aimed at Reddit and BlackHatWorld questions. It runs a referral program that encourages affiliates to post on Reddit, run ads and market through Discord. It appears on comparison sites.

To cross it: Publish similar niche content, pay affiliates higher commissions and buy placements on proxy review sites.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • Storefront, dashboard and per-IP or per-GB checkout, which are a weekend to 2 week build
  • Pricing: ISP proxies at $1.58 per IP are already undercut or matched by HypeProxies at $1.30 and Webshare at volume
  • Resold residential and mobile pool claims (10M+ to 72M+ IPs), which any reseller can also advertise
  • Use-case landing pages for sneakers, tickets, crypto and betting proxies

How you'd go after it

  • Undercut on price per IP or per GB, since customers can switch providers in minutes with no lock-in
  • Specialise in one niche, such as sneaker drops or Reddit account management, with tested success rates and support in Discord
  • Offer a free trial and an API, which BirdProxies reportedly lacks
  • Pay affiliates and proxy-review sites more than they do

04/Build against it?

Stay away

Dozens of resellers already compete on price and reviews. Without owned IP supply or a real audience, a new entrant would fight on margin.
