Does Bazzly have a moat?

Kinda.

38/100 · Shallow moat

“A Reddit reply bot clones in 2 weeks. Tibo's 187k-follower audience and his portfolio pushing Bazzly is the hard part to copy.”

01/The verdict

An AI tool that finds high-intent Reddit threads, then posts replies and DMs plugging your product, either through Bazzly's own aged high-karma accounts or yours, with paid upvotes on top. Solo founders and small SaaS teams pay $99 to $199 a month.

The software is thread monitoring, LLM-drafted replies, a Chrome extension and a posting queue. Many rivals already sell this, and some, like ReplyAgent, CrowdReply and Engain, also post through accounts they run. What separates Bazzly is distribution. Since Tibo Louis-Lucas (@tibo_maker, about 187k X followers, built Tweet Hunter and Taplio) partnered on it around July 2026, revenue roughly went from $3.3k to $20k a month, and his Outrank and SuperX products cross-promote it. Its core feature, posting and upvoting through managed accounts, breaks Reddit's rules, so the business could be shut down by Reddit, and that weighs on the score.

02/3 moats

Time won't do it

Tibo (about 187k X followers, $1M+ MRR portfolio) publicly calls himself a partner and keeps promoting it. Monthly revenue went from $3.3k in May to $7.8k in June and $19k in September 2026, in line with his involvement. Filip has 6k followers and builds in public.

To cross it: Sign up a creator with a comparable audience of indie founders, which very few challengers can arrange.

~9 mo to cross

Tibo says ChatGPT now cites Bazzly as the best Reddit tool. It runs Outrank-driven SEO with comparison pages against RedShip, Engain and others, an affiliate program that drives review posts, and cross-promotion inside SuperX and other TMAKER products. Domain rating is 33.

To cross it: Spend 6 to 12 months on comparison and listicle SEO, backlinks and affiliates to get into AI answers for 'best Reddit marketing tool'.

~3 mo to cross

Its 'zero ban risk' pitch depends on a pool of aged, high-karma Reddit accounts plus an upvote network, which have to be bought, warmed up and replaced as Reddit bans them.

To cross it: Buy aged accounts on the grey market or warm up your own, which several rivals already do.

03/The gap

Easy to copy

  • Thread discovery and relevance scoring on Reddit with LLM-drafted replies
  • Chrome extension that posts from the user's own account
  • Credit-based pricing and MCP/REST API for AI agents
  • Comparison pages and 'best Reddit tool' listicles

How you'd go after it

  • Sell a fully compliant, human-in-the-loop version to brands that won't risk vote manipulation, as Reddit cracks down on managed accounts and upvotes
  • Undercut on price: Redreach starts at $19 and RedShip is cheap, against Bazzly's $99 to $199
  • Go after one vertical, like local services or ecommerce, with subreddit-specific playbooks Bazzly doesn't tailor
  • Cover Reddit plus X, Hacker News and forums in one tool for teams that want more than one channel

04/Build against it?

Only with an edge

Only go in with your own distribution, like a big founder audience or an SEO engine, or with a compliant angle that survives Reddit enforcement. The product is commodity, there are a dozen clones already, and the whole category depends on Reddit tolerating it.
